There are many resources that can be used for an environment friendly cleaning. They include products such as baking soda, made from sodium bicarbonate and which can neutralize acid, and is mildly abrasive so will scrub but not scratch, it is also a natural deodorizer; borax, a naturally occurring mineral that is water soluble and is normally used in disinfectants and water softeners and detergents;
rubbing alcohol, also called isopropyl alcohol, a very good disinfectant; lemon juice, which contains citric acid is a natural deodorizer that has a light bleaching action so it can be used as a stain remover as well; mineral oil, it comes from petroleum and it is used in suntan oil, and in cosmetics and suntan oil; and vinegar, made from grain, wine or apple juice, it is acidic and can be used to cut grease and deodorize. It can eliminate mold and mildew. Vinegar can be used to quickly clean linoleum or hardwood floors quickly with no residue left behind.
